A graduate of THE Florida State University, Ashley Kellem received degrees in both English (Creative Writing) and Theatre—two programs of excellence that have helped further shape and inspire her work and future aspirations. So what does she do? Spend as much time behind the camera, as she does in front of it. Writing poetry and short stories, which can be found on her Tumblr, The Children Don’t Laugh, and Facebook page of the same name. Wrapping up her screenplay, Youth, a coming of age story that delves into issues of mental illness, suicide, and growing up in the 21st Century. As well as a number of other experimental writing projects currently keeping her busy (because a mind is a terrible thing to waste).

In front of the camera, Ashley proves herself to be a unique and stunning beauty, commanding the camera with practiced ease. Be it en vogue, or delivering a powerful and awe-inspiring moment on screen or stage. From terroristic drama, to thigh-slapping comedy, Ashley’s interests are as eclectic as she, and creative pursuits and collaborations are always something she’s after.
